This year’s trip Deux Mille Douze will start out in Prague, one of coolest city’s in the world. So why exactly would I make such a bold statement? Not only is it the cobblestone streets, but the city’s history is brimming with a bohemian focus. Maybe it’s the history of corrupt governments, artistic revolutions or student protests, whatever it is, Prague is rich in music, art and…well, some of the best beer in the world. If you stay away from the tourist centers on one of your days out, you will discover how delightful the Czech people are. 

Remember that some of the coolest things are not in your guide. The best moments on these trips are discovering bohemian bagel, walking into a five story club, meeting lively Czechs on the street, and watching lively street performers. Of course if you are feeling at all in a tourist mood, you have to check out the lovely 9th century castle and have a picnic in one of the many parks. Prague has been described as a magical city, full of bridges, churches, gold domes and everything in between. The richness of the art and culture makes Prague the first stop on our trip and definitely one of our most memorable
