Hello Vingt Dix Huit travelers and blog viewers!
As I write this we are 2 days and 19 hours away from leaving on our trip of a lifetime.
Travelers should meet inside American Airlines, Terminal 4, at the electronic kiosk. I will be standing there at 3:45-4:30 with a gift bag and a hard copy of your airplane ticket. (If you are late, and are not there by 4:30, please text me.)
Plan to scan your passport at the kiosk. Then check in your rolling duffel bag. Then say goodbye to loved ones and go to our gate.
(I am bringing a fast and easy read for the plane trip titled The Light in Paris about a woman who finds her deceased grandmother’s diary, which has a story written by her grandmother, Margie, that she has never heard before. Margie had lived in Paris for a brief time before she married and lived an extraordinary life. The narrator decides to go to Paris to seek out some of the memories her grandmother wrote about.) I chose this novel, as my grandmother’s name is Margie, and I hope to seek out some of my own memories on this trip.
What are you bringing to read, and to share with me when you have finished it?
BTW: The picture above is the light art project from our own Mr. T.
See ya soon!
